  • Ray Allen (1993–1996): A standout scorer and USA Basketball's 1995 Male Athlete of the Year, Allen was drafted 5th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1996. He went on to become one of the NBA's greatest shooters, with a Hall of Fame career that included two NBA Championships and ten All-Star appearances.

  • Caron Butler (2000–2002): The 2002 Big East Player of the Year was known for his versatility and scoring ability while at UConn. He was drafted 10th overall by the Miami Heat in 2002 and had a solid professional career that featured two All-Star selections and an NBA Championship with the Dallas Mavericks.

  • Emeka Okafor (2001–2004): This Big East Player of the Year led the Huskies to an NCAA Championship before becoming the 2nd overall pick by the Charlotte Bobcats in 2004. In his first season, he earned Rookie of the Year honors, recorded 19 straight double-doubles in less than six weeks, and became known as the face of the franchise.

  • Rudy Gay (2004–2006): Selected 8th overall by the Houston Rockets in 2006, Gay was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies and made the 2006–07 All-Rookie First Team. He set a franchise record for points in a single season during his second year and achieved a career-high 41 points against the Miami Heat in his third season—a solid start to a 17-year career!

  • Kemba Walker (2008–2011): Walker was instrumental in UConn’s 2011 NCAA Championship run and was named the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player. Chosen 9th overall by the Charlotte Bobcats (Hornets) in 2011, he went on to become a multiple-time NBA All-Star known for his scoring and clutch performances.

  • Andre Drummond (2011–2012): The 9th overall pick by the Detroit Pistons in 2012, Drummond is a multiple-time NBA All-Star known for his rebounding and shot-blocking. At UConn, he was a standout for his defensive skills and athleticism, leading the team in rebounds, blocks, and FG percentage.
