The History of Baltimore Ravens Football
Technically, the Baltimore Ravens are a relatively young franchise, but some would beg to differ. Their compelling history in the National Football League came with a controversial relocation from Cleveland in 1996. This decision would go down in sports history as “The Move.”
Nevertheless, the organization embraced its new identity and set the course for a memorable future in Baltimore. Thanks to players like Ray Lewis and Jonathan Ogden, the team was quick to make an impact and established a culture of relentless determination.
In January of 2001, the Ravens achieved the pinnacle of success with a victory over the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXXV. This championship not only marked their first Super Bowl win but also solidified their reputation for having one of the league's most dominant defenses. In the years since, that has helped the Ravens consistently contend for playoff berths.
The Ravens continue to be a force to be reckoned with in the NFL, as well as a symbol of resilience. With a bright future ahead, you can be part of the journey by securing your Baltimore Ravens tickets. Join the Flock, and witness the next chapter of their captivating history!

M&T Bank Stadium Information & Parking
"The Bank" proudly serves as the home of the Baltimore Ravens. Situated right in the heart of Baltimore, Maryland, this venue opened in 1998 and boasts a seating capacity of over 71,000. It offers a vibrant atmosphere that features an open-air design with innovative “birds’ nests” that allow visitors to enjoy the charm of the city while watching the Ravens.
The facility has a variety of modern amenities for guests, including free WiFi and the RavensFlock stage which features live entertainment and pre-game broadcasts. You might be surprised to learn there is even an extensive art collection on the premises. It includes sculptures, paintings, and photographs that showcase Baltimore's history and culture.
For those eager to get to the stadium, it all begins with finding the perfect Ravens tickets. GoTickets provides detailed seating guides to help you select your ideal seats, but for your convenience, you’ll find an overview of the seating options below.
Main Level
The Main Level offers a close-up experience, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the game. These seats provide excellent views and are particularly favored by those who relish the energy of being close to the field. Just be mindful that the lower rows may have some obstruction due to players, staff, and equipment on the field.
The lowest level of seating is also the most popular here. Each section contains between 35 and 42 rows, split into upper and lower portions. Lower rows are closest to the field, but some might find it more difficult than others to see over the players, staff, and equipment lining the field. Rumor has it the best seats are between rows 32 and 40.
Some sections on the north side of the field are covered by the upper-level overhang. That can be a blessing in inclement weather but, if you’re near the top of the section, it might also hinder your ability to see some plays.
Lower corner seats may offer great views of scoring plays, but the most budget-friendly seats on this level are typically found in the end zone sections where the big screen views sometimes beat the field perspective.
The Ravens' sideline is on the east side of the stadium, in front of sections 101 to 134, and the visiting team's sideline runs along the west side of the stadium, covering sections 123 to 156. Player tunnels for both teams are located between sections 123 and 124.
Club Level & Suites
Club seats on the 200 level offer an ideal elevation for the best sightlines, but that comes at a cost. Premium ticket holders pay for access to a climate-controlled concourse with full-service bars, lounges, and more. Suite amenities and features vary but may include access to exclusive entrances, cushioned seating, in-seat service, premium dining, and upscale restrooms.
Upper Level
500-level seats are the highest in the stadium, and the upper level wraps around the entire building. Each section contains around 30 rows, and while these budget-friendly seats offer a bird's-eye view of the field, seats beyond the 15th row have the highest potential of providing unobstructed views. However, they also require you to scale more steps whenever you need to enter or leave your section.
Accessibility Options
M&T Bank Stadium is equipped with accessible seating areas and more than 100 parking spaces for people with official handicapped placards and license plates. A drop-off area for guests with disabilities is located along the Northbound Russell Street Service Drive on the West side of the building.
Gates A, B, C, D, F, A1, A2, and the Media Gate on the south side of the stadium are accessible for guests with disabilities, and there are six banks of elevators. The three on the north side of the stadium are near sections 102, 146, and 151. The three on the south side are at sections 119, 124, and 129.
Parking & Alternative Transportation
Parking at M&T Bank Stadium can be tough during events. While GoTickets allows you to reserve parking spots at the time of your ticket purchase, it's advisable to plan ahead and arrive early for the best outcomes.
If you prefer alternative transportation, the Light RailLink, with a dedicated stop at Hamburg Street/Park Avenue, is a convenient option. The Camden Line of the Maryland Area Regional Commuter (MARC) Train service stops at the Camden Yards station, which is within walking distance of the stadium. Leave your car at home and enjoy a hassle-free ride to the stadium, making game day more enjoyable and stress-free.
Ravens Tailgating and Game Day Traditions
Tailgating is an age-old tradition for football fans, and the Flock knows how to throw a pre-game party! The RavensWalk boasts “the ultimate pre-game experience,” and fans can sample foods from local bars and food trucks as a DJ plays tunes and engages the growing crowd.
People decked out in purple and gold bond over food, drinks, and spirited conversations about their team. They engage in friendly competitions, with games like cornhole and ladder golf. Some toss footballs around as they recall some of the best plays that their most beloved hometown athletes have ever made.
Once inside M&T Bank Stadium, the energy is electric! When Baltimore scores a touchdown, the roar of the crowd is deafening, and "Seven Nation Army" echoes throughout the stadium. Ravens fans are known for their passion, and they create a unique vibe that adds to every game.
